The melody of Havdala used in the Horovitz family.

Umpa Umpa Shir HamaAlot (שיר המעלות)
The Horovitz family has lots of different tunes for Shir HamaAlot, including special ones for the different חגים.
The “Umpa Umpa” tune is one of the favorite ones, especially with the Horovitz grandchildren.

Monty Python Shir HamaAlot (שיר המעלות)
As a Monty Python fan it was only a question of time until the Monty Python Flying Circus theme was elevated to become one of the שיר המעלות tunes. Although other melodies, such as  Simon & Garfunkel’s Scarborough Fair and BBC’s Match of the Day Intro theme were used, this was the only one that lasted.

Shabbat Songs / זמירות שבת
From childhood the singing was a major part of the Shabbat table. It doesn’t mean we always burst into song, but the melodies were always there. Below are some of the tunes we used to sing which are less common, to the best of my knowledge, in other households.

שהשלום שלו –
